Jay Strongwater has dedicated his career to representing people whose lives who have been impacted by the criminal justice system. His first priority is always to the client. Thirty years as a criminal defense attorney has taught him there is no substitute for experience and hard work in the fight for justice. He also believes that the respect and trust he has with judges, prosecutors and fellow defense attorneys benefits his clients.

Emily Strongwater is a 2009 graduate of University of Vermont. In college she shaped her experience around the studies of human rights, civil rights, public policy and minority studies.

After college she returned home to Atlanta, Georgia to attend law school at Atlanta's John Marshall Law School. During her law school education she interned with the Georgia Innocence Project and The Federal Defender Program. She also clerked for United States District Court Judge, Amy Totenberg. 

Since graduating Emily has focused on criminal defense work, ranging from city and traffic offenses to state armed robberies and international federal conspiracies.
